How are predictions generated?
Depending on the league, WRI9A uses team-strength ratings, a Poisson expected-goals style model, and/or bookmaker prices. The selection is stored before kick-off. Details: Methodology.
How accurate are the predictions?
Accuracy is the historical hit rate of settled signals on the Track Record. It changes as matches complete. It is not a forecast of next week. Losses are listed beside wins.
Does WRI9A guarantee winning bets?
No. WRI9A does not guarantee winning bets, profits, or “sure” outcomes. Predictions are statistical estimates.
What data does WRI9A use?
Fixtures and scores from API-Football, some odds from The Odds API, RSS headlines from named publishers, and Wikipedia summaries for listed players and coaches. See the Privacy Policy for processors.
How often are predictions updated?
A worker runs about every 20 minutes. Each live board shows a last-updated time from the database when available — not a decorative clock.
What happens when there is not enough data?
Briefings say when form or head-to-head rows are missing. The model may use a conservative fallback. Educational pages stay up even if the live API returns zero fixtures, so the site never depends on a full board to be useful.
How is the Track Record calculated?
Total predictions counts every stored signal. Settled predictions are those marked won or lost after full time. Pending rows are unsettled. Hit rate = wins ÷ settled. Performance by competition appears when at least three settled rows exist for that competition.
Does WRI9A provide betting advice?

Where does the match data come from?
Primarily API-Football, stored in our database, then displayed with WRI9A analysis. Kick-off times can differ from local TV guides by a few minutes.
Why is a page not full of matches?
Leagues pause, APIs fail, or filters hide rows. Scroll to the static explanation on that section, or open Methodology, Track Record, Top Analysis and Responsible Betting. Those pages do not require live results.
